In the first you obviously see the vertical lines of the kiosk, the tall thin woman herself, and the vertical posts around the arch in the background.

In the horizontal shot what jumps out at me is the mans belt, the horizontal lines across the cement, the line connecting the two headlights on the left. Great job as always.Joe Osbornehttp://www.jcosborne.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-770501618098937868.post-70256222460252931112012-03-10T14:50:28.533-05:002012-03-10T14:50:28.533-05:00Agree with you Gene, but sometimes - if you don...Agree with you Gene, but sometimes - if you don't wanna be seen taking the shot - you have to take the horizontal shot with your camera hanging around your neck. That's the way I do. Because of that some of my photos ended in a square format like this one: http://500px.com/photo/5583146
because I have to crop it.Daniel Hoffmannhttp://www.streetphotography.dknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-770501618098937868.post-472113575447391872012-03-09T10:32:03.997-05:002012-03-09T10:32:03.997-05:00the only thing I would seen improved, is the fact ...the only thing I would seen improved, is the fact we could subscribe to your posts by simple email.Piet Flour srhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03768022424119020700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-770501618098937868.post-68834967347731908832012-03-09T10:28:50.358-05:002012-03-09T10:28:50.358-05:00really love these shots, and your own vision about...really love these shots, and your own vision about them, which I fully support in every aspect.
Great to be able to analyze your own photo's like a stranger would, and great to share this experience and knowledge for others to learn aspects of photography;
Even if some will agree, at least they took the time to discover much more the photo and how their perception is about these options !
Keep onPiet Flour srhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03768022424119020700noreply@blogger.com
