Cuba Trip - Day 5 (part 1)

We started off the day visiting the Mercado Agropecuario in Havana. It's a market not controlled by the government in which vendors are allowed to have stalls to sell produce using the interior domestic currency (there's two separate currencies in Cuba) and not charged on the buyers' ration cards.

Cuba Trip - Day 4 (part 2)

The day that I shot on the streets of San Francisco De Paula was bright and cloudless, and I had only an hour or so at noon. Not the best conditions for shooting. But the people were so friendly and amiable even though we couldn't communicate, I had to get some shots.

No matter where in Cuba you may go, there's always people working on cars. The Cubans are mechanical geniuses, keeping these old cars running with parts from just about any other kind of internal combustion engines.

After we got back to Havana, we went to a 'crafts' market which was more a big tourist trap than anything else.
